Save ("we", "our", or "the extension") is a browser extension that converts webpages to Markdown format. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Email address: Only if you subscribe to Save Plus. Used solely for subscription management and payment processing through Stripe.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage count: We track the number of free conversions locally in your browser to enforce the free tier limit. This data never leaves your device.

Information We Process (But Don't Store)

  • Webpage content: When you convert a page, the content is sent to our API for AI processing. This content is processed in real-time and is NOT stored on our servers after the conversion is complete.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Stripe: Payment processing for subscriptions. See Stripe's Privacy Policy
  • Anthropic (Claude AI): Webpage content processing. Content is sent to Claude for conversion but is not retained. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy
  • Cloudflare Workers: API hosting and subscription data storage

Data Security

  • All API communications use HTTPS encryption
  • Subscription data is stored in Cloudflare KV with encryption at rest
  • We never store your webpage content
  • We never sell your data to third parties

Your Rights

You can:

  • Delete your data: Uninstall the extension to remove all local data. Contact us to delete subscription data.
  • Access your data: Contact us to request a copy of your subscription information.
  • Cancel subscription: Manage through Stripe or contact us.

Children's Privacy

Save is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the extension or by email (for subscribers).
