By installing or using the Save browser extension ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Save is a browser extension that converts web pages to Markdown format. The Service includes:

  • A free tier with limited conversions
  • Save Plus, a paid subscription with unlimited conversions and additional features

3. User Accounts

To access Save Plus features, you must provide a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or subscription requirements
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Use the Service to scrape or collect data in violation of website terms of service
  • Distribute, sell, or resell access to the Service

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Save and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Content you convert using the Service remains your property. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to convert and use any content processed through the Service.

6. Payment and Subscriptions

For Save Plus subscriptions:

  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

7. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that converted content will be perfectly accurate.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Save shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the extension or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users or us.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
